High School Layout

I have 4 upcoming classes, one of which is a high school layout class. I've been busy designing a layout that is gender neutral. In class I'll have additional embellishments suitable for boy or girl. Shown is the first double page layout.

So glad it's come back!

It feels so good to come back to scrapbooking after a few months off. I forgot how much I enjoyed it and how good it felt to complete a page or two.
My youngest son will soon have a room of his own. Unfortunately, it is Scott's and my office. While getting my scrapbook stuff cleared out and put back on my dining room table, I decided to put the supplies to use.
This layout uses paper by CTMH. By now it's probably retired. I never really had anything to use it on but after a cold, wet, snowier winter than usual I desperately needed a hit of springtime. I'm not sure who to credit the tulip to. I want to say Amanda over at Pazzles.net but can't be 100%. Here is the final result.
